Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Crayon Review

I’ve wanted to invest in a new lipstick colour for a while as I always tend to stick to the same colours, so the other day I took the plunge and went for it, but I didn’t really want to spend a lot of money on a new shade lipstick like I normally would as I didn’t want to but a £15 MAC lipstick to then only hate the colour and then never wear it and inevitably wasting my money, so I decided to go for a cheaper option.

My friend Georgina told me about the Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Crayons and I thought I would give it a go for 2 reasons.

  1. Because I love a matte lip
  2. I’ve never tried a lip crayon so I had to!

Haul and makeup review for blog 007

I bought the crayon in shade 4 which is a hot pink shade which I never thought I would be able to pull off but even if I do say so myself I do!

The pigment of this crayon is amazing I only need one coat of this on my lips and I could quite comfortably be ok with that. I also LOVE the fact that it is matte AND that it also doesn’t dry out your lips like other matte products can do. By it being in a Crayon form means that it is really easy to apply and giving a definite shape without using a lip pencil.

lipsNow the thing I am most impressed about with this product is that I didn’t need to reapply that often which meant I didn’t have to worry about reapplying in the middle of a restaurant which can be embarrassing!

I can’t speak about all the shades as I only have this one, but I love this product and I recommend it to people wanting to try out new shades for an affordable price. I might have to head down to a store to pick up some more!
