It is that time of year again when we start all of the advent calendars!
This year I thought I would spend a bit of extra cash to get some calenders with presents in rather than the old chocolate ones.
I decided to get a Yankee Candle calender because like most of us I love candles and this calender just seemed perfect for me to get.
I love that its such a different shape from any other advent calendar that I have seen. Also the packaging is so festive. Reading the back saying whats in it, there are 20 tea lights with 4 votives. All of these are in the festive fragrances of Candy Cane Lane, Winter Glow, Snowflake Cookie, Icicles, Bundle Up and Spiced Orange. I think this is a really nice calendar if you are a fan of candles, but like me and don’t want to spend loads of money on the massive jars. I’m so excited to smell all of these festive scents.
Another calendar that I picked up was this tea one (obviously!) from a brand called the English tea Shop. It is an advent calendar of just tea! This is like the best thing I have ever seen! This calendar has teabags in each little cardboard box in the festive flavours Happy Holiday, Spicy Pumpkin, Peppermint Melon, Spicy Anise, Honey Melon, Sleigh Ride, Breakfast special, Silent Night, Holiday Blend, Gingerbread Man, Irish Holiday, Candy Cane and Savory Blend. Ok so some of the names of the tea aren’t as good as the Yankee candle names, but I think I forrgive the brand because it is a calendar full of tea. I think this is such a nice idea for an adult who may not want the simple chocolate advent calendars. I’m so excited to try all of the flavours.
The final advent calendar I have is obviously a chocolate one and it is the Milky Bar one! I’m a weird person and don’t like ordinary milk chocolate. The only type of chocolate I eat is white chocolate. Don’t ask me why, I just don’t like the taste of it. I know I have 2 other advent calendars, but I just could not resist getting myself a chocolate one! I mean it is a tradition of mine!
