HarSPA | Christchurch Harbour Hotel

This post is not sponsored, however I was invited down to the HarSPA at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel for complementary use of the spa, a treatment and a meal in exchange for a blog post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Back in January, I was treated to a lovely morning at the HarSPA at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel with the Bournemouth Bloggers to celebrate the refurbishment of their treatment rooms. I have been fortunate enough to visit the hotel before when they launched their alfresco dining back last year (you can read that post here).

It’s only been in the last year that I have started using spas and that is thanks to all the blogging ventures that I have been able to go on. So, I’m starting to understand and appreciate what kind of things you find at a good spa. One of the staples is the hot tub and the HarSPA did not disappoint! It was a huge hot tub. One of the amusing things about it, is that it had a almost shower in there (I think it was for a neck massage thing?), but I turned it on wondering what on earth it was (oh so naive!) and water started spurting out, so be wary of that!

We headed up to the treatment rooms after some time exploring the facilities.

The treatment rooms have recently been renovated. They were so lovely and relaxing. I loved the colours of the rooms. The therapist was also very relaxing and making sure that I was ok with everything. She asked me what treatment I would like and explained about some of the products that she would be using during the treatments. I went for a facial, as my skin was in need of a good pamper. My skin felt so good after. I could not help but touch it all the time (which I know makes it worse, but I couldn’t help it!).

We were also treated to lunch up in the Upper Deck Restaurant of the hotel. I had the fish and chips which were delicious. Emma had the chicken schnitzel which also looked super yummy. For dessert, I went for the Dorset Apple cake (I love a dessert with apple!) and others went for the chocolate brownie. It was a yummy way to finish off the meal.

The views over the Christchurch Harbour are stunning. Such a lovely sight. Even though I live so close to the beach, I don’t visit it enough. Days like these, and views like this make me want to visit more often.

The Christchurch Harbour Hotel and Spa is a stunning venue. If you get the chance, you must visit . It’s one of the perfect destinations to visit when visiting the South Coast. The spa facilities are amazing and so relaxing. Highly recommend a trip to the spa.
