It’s been about three weeks since I published a blog post. Here’s why:
- I’ve been on holiday and didn’t want to write whilst I was away.
- I’ve been busy applying for some pretty awesome jobs. Some of these applications are pretty lengthy and have taken up more time than I thought.
- I’ve had no motivation to blog at all.
So… where have I been?
Well, the short answer is at home, doing not much, even though I feel insanely busy. I have felt more busy in the last 2 months, than I did at college, even though, I know for a fact that this is not true! I have been so demotivated to do pretty much anything and I’m feeling very crappy about myself and just a bit meh… To try and stop this, I have been applying for some jobs to give me some motivation and structure into my life. Currently, as I type this I have heard back from one (out of the few) jobs that I have applied for. I have an interview tomorrow, so wish me luck! It’s not an ideal job, and its not the one that I really want, but I need something to get me out of the house and off of Netflix!
I have applied (or about to apply) for some insane jobs. These are jobs that I really want. Like, really want. I’m not revealing too much about them, because if I don’t get the job I will be gutted and I won’t really want to share the bad news with everyone. So, for now, I’m keeping these jobs under wraps. But, I am so excited, and I really can’t wait to hear back from the companies.
Also, in this time I have actually been on holiday. Remember those bucket list posts I wrote about Belgium and Efteling. Well, I’ve been there, and I’ve been back a while! I had such a great time on holiday and spending time with my Mum. When I got back I desperately tried to write my blog post on the holiday, but there was just no motivation. I aim to get it up soon (in the mean time you can watch the vlog here).
So you’ve finished college what’s the plan?
Currently, I have no plans. I’m not going to University (yet) as I need a break from education. I’ve been doing this learning thing for a while now and I need a break, so I am applying for some jobs to hopefully earn some dough and have some fun at the same time! I’m trying not to set too many plans as I am waiting to hear back from these really cool jobs that I want. I’m not putting my life on hold for them, but at the same time, I kinda am! I know I shouldn’t but I really want these jobs and I have put my heart and soul into these. I’m legit selling my sole to these companies because I really want to work for them. It would be like a dream come true!
But, for now, I’m taking everything week by week. I’m not planning things too far in the distance as I have no idea what is going to happen and if these companies want me, I am going to be ready to go when they need me, and hopefully, I will only have to cancel a couple of things!
What’s happening with the blog and YouTube Channel?
Well, this is a question that I have been dreading! Like I said, I have had NO motivation to do this thing. BUT, that does not mean I’m quitting! I have got this far, and I still have a long way to go with this old blog here! Same with my YouTube channel. The motivation for it has gone, but I really want to change that. I have still been filming my weekly vlogs, but I just have not been interested in editing them. I’m slowly trying to change that, but its difficult! I have so much footage to go through that my head may explode, so I’m doing it slowly. Just note that the vlogs will all be out at some point in the near future, but bare with me!
With the blog, I really want to get back to uploading on here regularly. When I left college, I said to myself that I was going to try and blog three times a week so that I had something to do. As we have all seen, this has not happened. So, the plan is to try once a week, and hopefully, I can pick it back up to two and possibly three, but I’m not pushing myself.

Just so we’re clear, what’s happening now?
The short answer is that I have no idea. I will keep you updated as this all unfolds in my weekly vlogs, but for now, it’s all hush hush. I never thought I was going to be one of those people to be like this, but sometimes, we need to keep certain things private. We can’t share everything all the time. However, I do plan to try and write on here and upload videos over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for those.
