A little while ago, I was invited down to La Piccola Italia with the Bournemouth Bloggers. We were there to try out their Bottomless Prosecco Brunch. The Bottomless Brunch is on offer every Saturday between 12 and 5 and costs £25.
I arrived at La Piccola Italia and met up with some of the wonderful Bournemouth Bloggers. It was lovely as I haven’t seen everyone in a while, so it was nice to have a catchup.
Once everyone had arrived, we were told that we had 90 minutes to have as much prosecco as we liked, and that they were going to bring over a selection of dishes for us all to try.
A selection of Cicchetti (small plates were brought over to us. There was bruschetta, calamari, mussels, tomato salad and my favourite fried tortellini. I know that the fried tortellini sounds weird, but it was delicious! It was like cheese crisps and they were sooooooo good!
After this we were sent a selection of Charcuterie. These come with a variety of meats and cheeses and they also come with these really yummy bits of bread. So good!
Now onto the PIZZA!
We were brought a selection of small pizzas. These were delicious! What was really nice is that they were small, so you didn’t fill yourself up with pizza and you could enjoy and appreciate all the other dishes on the table. There were so many pizzas that I loved!
A few of the Bournemouth Bloggers were vegetarian and La Piccola Italia offered so many different vegetarian friendly dishes. They also have vegan options and gluten free bases, which is great as it means everyone is able to enjoy the food.
I think this Bottomless Prosecco Brunch is well worth it! For all the prosecco you like AND pizza included in there as well, I honestly don’t think there is a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon! It’s so unfortunate that I was driving (and had work later that evening) because I would have had a lot more prosecco if I could have! I’m definitely going to be coming back with friends to have a catchup over this gorgeous brunch.
