It’s the second of December, which means that it is the second day of blogmas. But, it also means, that it is the second day of us all opening our advent calendars. I love it when the 1st of December swings around. Not only because its officially Christmas, but because you can open your advent calendar, and the countdown to Christmas has really begun! This year, I decided to have two different calendars, and I thought I would share the ones I picked with you.
The Milkybar Advent One
The first one, is probably the most boring advent calendar, because I get it every year, which is a plain old chocolate one. I have a milky bar one. You are probably thinking that this is for kids, which is true, because it is. However, if you know me or have been reading my blog for a while, you will know, that I really don’t like chocolate. But, a little bit of white chocolate just hits the spot for me! I have never found another white chocolate advent calendar, so ever since I was young, I have had this one. When I saw this one this year, I was super excited because they have changed the image on the front. In recent years, the advent calendar has been EXACTLY the same. I get that the cliental for this product is younger, so wouldn’t remember, but there are a few of us who only get this calendar. It’s nice to mix it up every once in a while!
The Disney x Primark One
The second advent calendar, I was not expecting to get. I was hunting around for this for AGES. I saw Disneyfind on Instagram was sent one of these and I knew I needed to get my hands on it, but I could not find it anywhere. When I looked, I didn’t see any signs for it. It went like gold dust! So, I kind of lost hope and thought that I missed out. BUT, I was in luck! In November, my Mum and I headed to Disneyland Paris for a little getaway. Before we were about to head home, we decided to head into Primark in Val d’Europe as they have a HUGE Disney section. I could not believe my eyes when I walked in and saw stacks of these advent calendars. I was over the moon! Quickly, we picked the best one we could see up and put it straight in our basket!
Incase you didn’t guess, this advent calendar consists of 25 Disney Christmas decorations. I mean, if you have seen my tree, I clearly don’t have enough Disney Christmas decorations 😂. I have tried not to look and see what ones are in there, as I want it to be a surprise (which is why, I haven’t opened the calendar for the pics as I want to do it as I go along!). This was such good value for money and if you see this one, I would definitely pick it up. (EDIT – I’ve seen its reduced in some Primark’s already).
There we have it, those are my advent calendars for this run up to Christmas. Well, technically I have another one, as my Mum buys little gifts throughout the year to give to me on the run up which is super cute! But these are the shop bought ones for this year.
