At the end of November, I was invited down to Beaulieu for the launch of the Christmas Lights. I was beyond excited as I love Beaulieu as I am a massive fan of their motor museum! I’ve always loved cars! However, this trip to Beaulieu was not about the cars, it was about CHRISTMAS!
I’ve never been to Beaulieu at Christmas, so I was beyond excited to be invited. In the email, we were sent a couple of pictures and it looked incredible. I had high hopes and they did not disappoint!
Now, onto the magical Christmas at Beaulieu
As you enter, there was this huge cathedral light tunnel that had over 3,000 lights. It was breath-taking. We could not take our eyes off of the pretty lights. There were so many and it was stunning!
Next up on our Christmas light walk was over in the Beaulieu Abbey grounds. Again, it was another breath-taking site. Carefully placed out our little fires that form the shape of a Christmas tree. I have never seen anything like it. This was my favourite spot of the whole walk. I took so many photos of this installation! Loved it!
This year, Santa has decided to take the bus to deliver all his presents to girls and boys. Fun fact, during the course of the evening, Santa and his helper do over 1000 performances a night! That’s crazy!
As you turned the corner, there was a toasting marshmallow stand. Obviously, I could not just ignore this. So myself and my niece and nephew all had a marshmallow that we toasted on the fire. There were also so many different flavours of marshmallow. I could not believe it. But, being plain old me, I stuck to my vanilla. Some things to me taste better as the original! Once we had toasted our marshmallow we continued walking round whilst nibbling at them. They were so delicious
There were so many more light installations. I could go on forever! My niece and nephew both really enjoyed them. My Mum also liked it too!
To finish the night, I had some pop-corn because who could not have popcorn!
Thank you so much to Beaulieu for inviting me! I had such an incredible time and my niece and nephew loved it!
This post is not sponsored. I was invited down to Beaulieu for the launch of their Christmas at Beaulieu mile long light installation. I was not asked to write this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Massive thank you to Beaulieu for inviting myself and the New Forest Bloggers.
