This post is not sponsored. I was invited by The Real Eating Company and Lunch’d along with the Bournemouth Bloggers for a complementary lunch in exchange for a blog post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Last year, I was invited to The Real Eating Company in Bournemouth with some of the Bournemouth Bloggers for a delicious breakfast. (It was incredible!) So, when I got an invitation to go back, I knew that my immediate answer was YES! This time it was to go and check out the new pop-up Lunch’d which is available at The Real Eating Company in Bournemouth every Tuesday and Wednesday.
About Lunhc’d
Lunch’d offer really healthy lunches that are gluten and dairy free. They also have vegan options available as well. Lunch’d started in 2013 and originally provided boxed lunches for offices. Now, The Real Eating Company and Lunch’d are collaborating and bringing the Lunch’d boxes to the high street.
When we arrived at the Real Eating Company we were greeted by Oli Perron (founder of Lunch’d) and told that we were going to be receiving one of his seasonal Hotboxes.
We also met the owner of Green Ponics who grows his own micro greens here in Bournemouth. Oli uses these micro greens in his food. Now, I had never heard of micro greens, but essentially, these are tiny plants but with HUGE flavours. We even got to try some of them. My favourites were the broccoli micro green and the sunflower micro greens. It was so interesting and so lovely to see someone so passionate about his product. It was also really interesting to learn all about these micro greens. They were so delicious and we were even allowed to take some home!
Our hotboxes came out. It was called the ‘My Phat Greek Box’. This contained aubergine moussaka and a quinoa salad. It was so yummy and something that I had not tried before. This lunch was a real nice change from my usual chicken and mayo sandwich!
The new Lunch’d pop-up will be available every Tuesday and Wednesday at The Real Eating Company in Bournemouth. Boxes will be prices £6.95 and you can enjoy them in or as a takeaway option!
Thank you so much to both Lunch’d and The Real Eating Company for having me! I had a lovely lunch!
