Paddington & the Christmas Visitor

photo

I recently did a little bit of food shopping with my Mum in M&S. We got to the tills and my eyes immediately spotted this book on Paddington, which is one of my favourite little bears, therefore, it went straight in my basket and at £3, I thought it was a bargain!

This children’s book is based on this years M&S Christmas Advert (which can I point out, is one of my favourite Christmas adverts of all time, let alone this year!). It not only is about Christmas, but it is also about giving presents, and how that can change anyone and make the a happier person. I honestly think this is such a good read for little ones as it teaches lots of wonderful lessons as well as being a fun read!

This book is written by Timothy Knapman and illustrated by Becky Cameron and it is beautiful! Th illustrations both inside and out are gorgeous and so inviting! I’m in love with them and I wish I could draw like it!

Now this book is a children’s book, and it is not meant for adults, but I really could not help myself when I saw that 2 out of the £3 is being donated to Childline. My plan is to keep this book nice and safe, so when I have children (hopefully) I can read this to them on Christmas Eve.
