A Little Something, So Wonderful Hand Cream | Beauty Review

Before Christmas I went to the Hilton Hotel to try the Festive Afternoon Tea for the Bournemouth Blogger Meetup. It was such a fun afternoon and to finish the afternoon, Emma, a blogger who runs Bournemouth Bloggers, gave us all a little Christmas something. It was so sweet of her and also very unexpected, but I opened the present and out came a little hand cream.

This hand cream is from the A Little Something Range by Boots. This range makes what my Grandma would call ‘smellies’, this ranges from hand creams, perfumes, body butters, lip balms and makeup bags. These items come in a range of different scents from citrus to sweet and fruity to floral. There is a scent for everyone in this range.

I got given the hand cream in the scent ‘So Wonderful’ and spoiler, the name fits the product! It is a very floral scent, so if thats not your bag, I don’t think its the one for you! It reminds me of freshly cut roses!

The packaging of this product is simple, and thats probably why I like it! I love the pinks and reds in the logo it makes it stand out from my other hand creams. However, I do have one slight nit-pick with the packaging and that is that I feel the logo is the wrong way round! My opinion is that you should be able to stand the bottle on the lid and the logo should be that way up (if you know what I mean!). I like to store my tube products that I use regularly standing up as it takes up less room on my vanity the lying them down. I mean that’s not really something to complain about overly, but its something that  if I was designing the packaging I would think about.

The size of this hand cream is PERFECT for your hand bag as its not too big, but not tiny so it will sink all the way to the bottom. Also as its a screw on lid rather than just a cap, it means that it is less likely to squirt all over the bottom of your bag, which is a bonus! It’s also perfect for travelling as its a 30ml bottle and therefore can fit as part of your liquid bags!

Now, the actual hand cream itself is kind of perfect! It’s not too greasy, which is a real pet peeve of mine as I really hate the feel of that and I end up wiping all of the product off because it annoys my hands so much. It’s also not sticky which is another great feature!  There is nothing worse than a sticky and greasy hand cream. My hands don’t get dry all that often, however when they do I like to put a tiny bit go this on and that does the job!

Overall, I would recommend this hand cream and is the perfect little gift for someone! There are so many scents to choose from that you could not go wrong with this gift. A massive thank you to Emma for giving me one of these, it was so unexpected and generous!
