This post is not sponsored. I was invited to Lush Bournemouth along with the Bournemouth Bloggers for a private event where they showcased their new products. Some of these items were gifted (will let you know which) and some were purchased with my own money. I was invited to this complementary event in exchange for a blog post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Once again, Lush Bournemouth spoilt us Bournemouth Bloggers. Last week, I headed back to Lush in Bournemouth for an evening of fun and for them to showcase their new Mother’s Day and Easter ranges. It was such a fun evening and I am beyond grateful to be invited back for an evening of fun and pampering.
Anyways, onto the event.
To start with, we were treated to some prosecco in the famous Lush pots. This is such a fun idea. I’m going to be real, it is strange drinking out of one of these, but I love the recycling idea behind it. In fact, Lush are so good at recycling that according to the staff their that night, that because of people returning their pots once they have finished them, they have not had to make any new black pots since 2011. If you were unaware about the returning your pots thing, if you bring back 5 empty black pots, you get a free fresh face mask. This is such a genius thing, and its also really rewarding. Not only are you saving the planet, you are also getting a free face mask!
Similarly to last time, we were allowed to take a couple of the products (which is so fun, if you get the chance, you should totally give it a go). The first thing we got to make was the bath bomb Sex Bomb (which I think is inspired by the Tom Jones song!). I have used this bath bomb before and I love it! The scent of jasmine is so perfect an divine. Now, let me tell you, this is not the easiest of things to make. You may think making a bath bomb is easy, but this is actually a rather difficult task. For this one you have to try and keep that rose central and also showing, plus there are two colours involved. I’ve only ever made bombs that have one colour, so this was a challenge. But, I love a challenge!
I tried my best, but I don’t think Lush will instantly higher me when they see this! Maybe, I should just stick to buying the bath bombs! (Lush kindly gifted us this product).
We also got to make a fresh cleanser. These are sooooooo good for the skin. We got to make ‘Angels on Bare Skin’, which has lots of lavender in (another scent that I love!). It also contains ground almonds, rose and chamomile oil. I’m actually super excited to use this. I love Lush’s fresh cleansers! They are great at making sure I have all the grub off my face. (Lush kindly gifted us this product).
We then got to see all of Lush’s new products from their Mother’s Day and Easter collections.
We even got to see most of them in the water and they look stunning. My faves were, Rose Butterfly, Incredible Mum, Golden Egg and Stegosarus Fun Egg. Even thought these were my some of my favourites I actually didn’t end up buying any of these, which means that we all know that I will be back at Lush soon, buying ALL of these!
Another bath bomb that I completely fell in love with was Goddess. This bomb was inspired by Ariana Grande’s music video ‘God is a Woman’. I loved the colours and agin it features jasmine, which is clearly a scent that I am loving at the moment! When seeing this one not only did I love the scent, I loved the colours and I am not normally a girl who loves purple, but I knew I just needed this (which is why it probably came home with me!).
Whilst I was there, they had a few of the Peachy bath bombs left over, so I knew that I needed this in my life! I think they are hilarious and GENIUS marketing. I wish I managed to get my hands on the aubergine, but they didn’t have any left. Lush, if you are reading, please bring these back for next year! I love them!
I had such a great evening at Lush. Lush events are always some of the best! Special thanks to all those at Lush Bournemouth for a great evening and as always a special thanks to the Bournemouth Bloggers for an evening of fun. Finally, a special thank you to my best friend Emma for organising such an amazing evening. She puts so much into everything and organising us all, thank you!
