Ok, so yes, I always film my Disneyland Paris haul, but for once I really wanted to photograph what I bought and stick it on the blog. (The main reason is that I got some new backgrounds and I wanted to have a play and I actually ended up LOVING the photos and I needed to share them!). I love filming my Disneyland Paris haul, and they always do the best when it comes to views, which is always a really nice feeling (even though its not about the numbers!). So, I thought I would upload my Disneyland Paris haul here. If you would rather see this in video form you still can watch that here.
Disneyland Paris Haul
This Disneyland Paris haul is bigger than normal, as I actually have three trips worth of things that I have saved up for one massive haul. If you follow me over on Instagram (which you so should btw) and YouTube you will know that I have been to Disney in October, November and January. They were three amazing trips and I had the best time on all of them. Anyways, we better get started!
Annual Pass
I think the first thing that I need to talk about is my Annual Pass. Yes, I’m now an annual pass holder to Disneyland Paris. I have the Infinity Annual Pass which is the highest annual pass you can get. I’m not going to go into too much detail as I actually want to write a blog post on the passes at some point in the near future. Essentially, this allows me 365 days access into the parks and it also offers many discounts on hotels, food, park tickets for friends and family and many other awesome VIP things. But, the important thing for this blog post is that it actually gives me 20% off of merchandise (even sale items, which I was shocked about).
So, if I mention a price on here, and then you go and add it up to see how much I have spent (if you do that, please don’t tell me! I don’t want to know) make sure you take 20% off! The pass cost €399, and trust me, its the best €399 I have ever spent!
To go with my annual pass, I have bought a few lanyards over the past few trips. The first one, was the stripey one with Mickey and friends on. To be honest, I don’t think this is my favourite lanyard. I bought it because it came with a pouch (which I actually stretched in January, so can now longer use). In November, I purchased the Christmas lanyard. Christmas is my favourite time of year, so this was just another accessory that I needed. Finally, the Mary Poppins lanyard. Definitely didn’t need this one, but Mary Poppins is one of my favourite Disney films so this was very necessary. The lanyards are priced at €9.99 each.
For the pouches where you can pop your tickets in, these are €5.99. Even though these do have the Disney castle on them (which is a nice magical touch) I do recommend that you buy these before you go, as you can get them so much cheaper elsewhere.
Ears
I seem to not be able to go to the park and not purchase ears. The first pair was the classic Minnie Mouse ears with the red bow. Now, I technically do have a pair of these, but they are a little old, so I thought why not purchase a new pair.
The second pair is exclusive to the Mickey 90 collection, so make sure you get these soon! These are my one and only pair of light up ears. I fell head over heels in love with these back in November as not only did they have Mickey on, but they also lit up. These are so cute at night and are definitely up there with one of my favourite pairs of ears. (Probably one of my most expensive pairs too at around €20 a pair!).
Pins
This is probably where most of my money went. I am a big collector of pins and not just Disney ones either, but that is the biggest collection that I have. Honestly, I don’t know why I collect these. I think its because I love to look at them and they look really pretty. But I don’t wear them or anything like that. Maybe I should start when I’m going round the park and wear some of my favourites?
Disney pins range in prices. They price them in colours, so the cheapest is the green range at €6.99 followed by orange at €7.99, then blue and yellow at €9.99 and finally, the most expensive, pink at €12.99.
I have bought pins from all the colour ranges as I am addicted to pins. I will pay no matter what for them!
Clothing
I haven’t gone too crazy on clothing. Mainly because it’s so expensive. I have bought a few bits though 😂.
The first is probably my favourite, which is the Disneyland Paris spirit jersey in black. I bought a spirit jersey when I went to Disneyland in California almost a year ago. The spirit jersey is great, but I did buy it in a bright red with polka dots. Don’t get me wrong, I love it. I wouldn’t change it for the world, but I wished I purchased another one in like a navy. However, when they announced that Disneyland Paris were going to be getting their own line, well, I was ecstatic!
I am a massive Disneyland Paris enthusiast. I knew that I was going to be purchasing the black one when they announced the colours (the other was pink and as much as I like pink, it’s not my colour). Anyways, I am completely OBSESSED with my spirit jersey. I think its one of my most worn items that I own.
When I was in Disney in November, I was there for the actual day of Mickey’s birthday. So to commemorate this, I purchased (what was supposed to be) an exclusive t-shirt that had the castle, Mickey and the date, 18th November. It was a bit pricy, but I knew that I needed and wanted something to commemorate the occasion.
Hats, Scarfs and Gloves
I was so underprepared for the weather in November. It was blooming freezing! I took one pair of gloves with me, a couple of jumpers and a coat. That was it. Let me tell you, it was not enough! I ended up buying a hat, scarf and another pair of gloves because I loved them!
The set I bought, almost matched. It was very Mickey Mouse themed! I do love it, but I think these are only really for the parks. I don’t think the Mickey hat would look good anywhere else!
Now, this red thing that you are probably wondering what it is, was honestly the best purchase I made whilst in Disney on that November trip. It’s essentially a scarf, however you wear it with most of the material over your face. It looks weird, but my god does it keep your face warm! Honestly, from my nose down was so toasty in this. If you are heading to Disney in the winter, I would highly recommend these!
In January, it wasn’t quite as cold, so I didn’t need the almost balaclava, but I still needed a little something. I saw this scarf in one of the shops as you enter the Disneyland Park and I fell in love. It was so pretty and I loved the Mickey’s on it. Since purchasing this scarf, I have actually been living in it for the cold weather. I feel like it’s one of those items that you could say, yes it’s Disney, but its not too Disney. Do you know what I mean?
Tsum Tsums
Like I have said numerous times, it was Mickey’s 90th birthday, so obviously the money makers that Disney are, they have made exclusive merchandise for the occasion that every Disney fan needs to purchase. One of those collections is the Mickey 90 Tsum Tsums. Obviously, I had to get all of them, because you know, they are part of a set, so how could you have one without the other! These tiny little soft toys cost €5.99 each. Let’s just say ‘THANK GOD FOR THAT ANNUAL PASS DISCOUNT’!. (Honestly, I need some serious help please!).
In January it snowed (like really snowed). I wanted to purchase something that would commemorate all the snow whilst I was there. Ideally, I wanted a pin, but I couldn’t find one that I liked. However, I was looking through the sale items and saw this Olaf tsum tsum. It was only €2, plus I also got a discount on top of that. Happy days!
Christmas Decorations
I actually purchased a couple of Christmas decorations. One which is actually one that you see on the huge Christmas tree in the Disneyland park. I fell in love with this one, as it has the letter C and it’s also blue with Mickey. Another decoration I also purchased was a limited edition decoration for Mickey’s 90th birthday. I also fell in love with this one as it’s Steamboat Willie which was what started it all.
Miscelanious
Lots of items that I bought don’t overly have a category, so we will just put these items here! Some of these were absolute bargains in the sale. Others were full priced and expensive, but none the less, I love them all!
So there we have it, my Disneyland Paris Haul. Like I said, I’m heading back to the Disneyland Paris soon (like in a few weeks!), so if you liked this post then there will be another Disneyland Paris Haul coming up with all the merch that I purchase in my upcoming trips! Hopefully for my bank accounts sake, it won’t be as much!
P.S. I was not asked to write this post about my Disneyland Paris haul. I really liked the photos I took and wanted to share them!
