Well, you know how in the last post I said I would post more? Well, what a surprise. It’s been a while! Life has that pesky felling of just getting in the way and my little corner of the internet was and is still not the top priority, even though I really would love to get back into it. However, it is just about to be the Easter Holidays, so I thought to myself, why not sit down for 10 minutes and write? Let’s update whatever readers are still lurking out there.
So, what’s the update over the last year then?
Well, I completed my teacher training, which was so fun. I made so many friends (and I actually still keep in contact with most of them!). Another thing, I also got a job as a class teacher! I am a Year 2 teacher and have met my work wife at this school! I get on so well with the other year 2 teacher it is UNBELIVEABLE! We are so similar and have such fun teaching together. We have marking parties after school where we stick on Disney or Taylor Swift music and just crack on with whatever work. Or what normally happens, is that we end up gossiping about whatever has happened that day! It’s such a rewarding job but my goodness it is tiring! I love my class but they do know how to push my buttons!

I also had yet another graduation. It was bittersweet that my Grandma wasn’t there for this one, but I was lucky enough to have my Mum and my boyfriend around me. We had a lovely day and went for a beautiful lunch! Honestly, it was one of the best steaks EVER!

We also have been on holiday once or twice, which was obviously to Disney haha! If you are reading this, you probably know that I do have quite an obsession with the mouse! One of the trips was amazing as we took my step-sister and my nieces and nephews to Disney for the first time and I can’t lie they lost their minds at how cool it was. I hope I have influenced them to be Disney fans too haha! James (my boyfriend), my Mum and myself all went to Disneyland Paris for Christmas as well. It’s my favourite time of year and James had not been for Christmas so it was a MUST!

Another thing that happened which was INSANE, was that James and I went to the iconic Eras Tour! Huge Swifite over here, yes we did go twice! It was two of the best concerts I have ever been too. To here some of the older Taylor songs live was incredible and we had some great surprise songs (London Boy, a mashup of Sad Beautiful Tragic and Dear John, I Did Something Bad and a mashup of My Boy Only Breaks his favourite toys and Coney Island! Yes please!). I will never forget those gorgeous nights of music, it was so fun! Thank you to James for putting up with my histeria!
Moving to 2025
2025 is going to be a year with lots of change, and that is ok!
The first big change is that James and I are properly moving in together. Like not just living in a flat that I have some stuff there, like proper big girl pants stuff. Yep, we are buying a house. Together! In fact, I hope that by the time you are reading this, we will be homeowners, which is kinda insane! We went and had a look at a newly built property nearby and we fell in love with it, so we went ahead and bought it! There’s lots of scary thoughts going on about buying a house, but we will manage and my Mum is only a short drive away, so I’m not far from home. Just feels kinda crazy! I’ll have to update you on it as and when I can.
We have also got lots of other things like holidays and other stuff happening over 2025, and I hope to be able to share some of this with you, that is if I remember to update the blog page or maybe even the YouTube channel! Either would work right?
