Breakfast is honestly the best meal of the day. It just has the best food doesn’t it! Well, thats certainly the case at Delish Deli in Westbourne.
A few friends and I were invited down to Delish Deli to try out one of their breakfast sharing boards and it did not disappoint!
We were greeted with a ginormous tray of delicious continental breakfast foods including cold meats, croissants, pancakes, waffles, fruit, muffins and granola.
Now we all know I love food and talk about it A LOT, but this was honestly the best continental breakfast I have had. I’m very much a full english type of gal, but this was beautiful, especially for those summery mornings where you want something filling but a bit lighter than a fry up.
My favourite breakfast item was actually surprisingly the granola. Now, I’m nit normally a granola person. I would never choose it, but I could have honestly eaten about 4 of these little pots. It was the perfect consistency of crunch and soft yoghurt. It also had a drizzle of either hunny or syrup over it. (which is probably why I liked it as at home I don’t put honey over it).
The waffles were also delicious. They also had the right amount of crunch as you bite and then the softness in the middle. Plus with a little fruit and syrup you can’t go wrong can you?
All in all, this was such an enjoyable breakfast and would definitely love to come back here with my Mum. I’d also love to go back to try their afternoon cheese which intrigues me as it is an afternoon tea made entirely out of cheese. YES PLEASE!
